Pizza Dough

This recipe needs to be made in a food processor.  Once you see how easy and good it is , you’ll never order delivery  again.  You can make up a couple of batches of the dough, pre-cook them for about 5 minutes and put them in the freezer for instant pizza!  A boon to mankind!!!!!

  1. In a 2 cup liquid measuring cup, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand until foamy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  2. Insert dough blade into bowl of processor. Add flour, salt and 1 teaspoon olive oil. With machine running on low speed, pour liquid through small feed tube as fast as flour will absorb it. Process until dough cleans the sides of the bowl and forms a ball. Then process for 30 seconds to knead dough. Dough may be slightly sticky. Coat dough evenly with 1/2 teaspoon olive oil; transfer to a plastic food storage bag and seal the top. Let rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes. While dough is rising prepare any pizza toppings.
  3. Place dough on lightly floured surface and punch down. Roll into desired crust sizes. Follow recipes for toppings.
