J.D.’s Walleye Fish Fry

So the first thing you have to do is come to Moses Lake and go fishing.  J.D. is the expert in the family on that subject.   Actually ,  I’m sure any nice , flaky, white fish will work well with this recipe.   Getting them fresh from the Lake  to the frying pan  is a real bonus when J.D. is around.

  1. Beat eggs in medium size bowl. Soak fish pieces in egg wash about 5 minutes.
  2. Combine cracker crumb mix in a second medium size bowl. Coat, egg washed fish pieces with cracker crumbs.
  3. Pour cooking oil into frying pan until about an inch deep. Heat to 375. Drop fish pieces a few at a time into hot oil, turning once, until golden in color. Drain on paper towels.
