Well here it is. This recipe has been in the family for at least 40 years. It was first given to me by our dear neighbor when we lived on 33rd Ave. , Dorothy Wurdeman. Potlucks would never be the same. It has been to the Sea Fair races, church socials, baby showers, wedding showers, ladies luncheons and many family dinners on a warm Seattle evenings. Pass it on!!!

Ingredients
Salad
- 3 to 4 cups cooked chicken cut up whole roasted one from the deli if you don't want to heat up the house our you are in a hurry
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 1 cubumber sliced thin
- 1 package slivered almonds
- 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
- 1 large can chow mein noodles
Dressing
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 6 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 cup salad oil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions
- Chop lettuce and add other ingredients. Toss with salad dressing that has been whisked together thoroughly.
