This is a long time family favorite. Probably its’ most traditional appearance is on the menu with ham and scalloped potatoes. Just seems to be a winner! Green beans are at their best when parboiled in advance and then heated quickly on top of the stove just before serving.

Hearts of Palm Salad
This salad tastes good and looks beautiful. It is particularly good for a first course served on individual plates. The vegies should be done ahead of time to marinate, then just top on fresh crisped lettuce and grate blue cheese over the top. The green zucchini and red tomatoes make it particularly appropriate for Christmas.
Broccoli-Onion Casserole

Easy, Cheesy, Chicken Pot Pie
This is a family favorite at my house. It can be as easy or difficult as you want. I usually make extra and freeze some for a rainy day. A rotisserie chicken works great (or Traeger a chicken). i like to grill the corn, but the frozen peas, carrots and corn bag work great too. You can make your own gravy, but try this one first, i think you’ll love it.
