Fruit and Vegetable Salad

We have always liked this salad, but it got lost in the phenomenon of the recipe drawer that a non-professional might mistake as the town’ recycling center! It rose to the top of the pile this summer and we have all been pleased to see it again. Hope you enjoy the new addition also. Another salad that can sit on a buffet table because there are no greens to wilt.

Ingredients

1 pound bacon, fried crisp, crumbled

1 large bunch fresh broccoli flowerettes

6 green onions, chopped

2 cups celery diced

1 cup sliced almonds

1 cup raisins

2 cups red grapes halved

Dressing:

1 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon vinegar

1/4 sugar

1/4 milk

Whisk together and pour over salad ingredients.
