Served several times at Jeff’s Birthday golf tournaments, and lots of summertime eating even though they never see a grill!!! Prep time: 1 hour Cook time: 1 1/2 hours Difficulty: Servings 8 to 10 3 to 4 lbs baby back pork spareribs 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt Island Marinade: 1 cup ketchup 1 tablespoon Hoisin sauce 1 clove garlic, crushed 1/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 1 tablespoon honey 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger Sprinkle ribs with sugar and salt. Let stand 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350.Prepare Island Marinade. Place ribs on rack in roasting pan. Bake 1 hour. Brush marinade on ribs. Bake 15 minutes Turn ribs and brush with additional marinade. Bake 15 minutes more or until well glazed. Be sure to give everyone lots of napkins!!!!!!
